The DOTAC Brasil Conference, 1999

The 1999 DOTAC assembly held at Rodeio 12, Timbo/SC, Brazil. Participants gathered from ten different countries and the great variety of cultures, languages, and ministries represented contributed to a rich blend of experiences. It soon became clear that the spririt and practice of diaconal ministry has no national or language boundaries. The keynote presentation included in this book provide a glimpse of diakonia -- prophetic praxis -- agir in the world today, as the church moves toward a renewed vision of prophetic and active ministries of service.
